Morris Claiborne’s wife Jennifer Jones celebrated her birthday with him in early November. He posted to her that “no man succeeds without a good woman behind him.” So whatever you do, stay behind him, Jennifer! I kid, of course; it was a sweet message. “No matter what happens, I know she’s going to hold it down” read another such message. The sentiment is he trusts her because they experienced a lot together and stayed together. Even after Morris scored a 4 on the Wonderlic test, she stayed with him! Come on guys, loosen up.

Jennifer refers to herself as “the essence of a woman in purest form.” That’s an odd title, but she seems to have a very definite idea of what a woman is and should be. She also calls herself a snob, which I like because it means she possesses some semblance of self-awareness. Morris Claiborne’s wife commissioned a few tattoos for herself over the years. Two of them are located on her front ankles just above her feet. I don’t know what they say because the writing is small. Jennifer is also the mother of the couple’s daughter, Madi. Madi is short for Madison, and Madison is the couple’s second child. The other child is a son, Mo.

The couple also own two English Bulldogs, which Morris calls his other babies. Morris Claiborne’s wife posed recently with their two kids to tell everybody that he would return. The picture featured her and their two kids each wearing his jersey and showing his number. Morris has indeed struggled with injuries since he joined the league. He does get to spend more quality time with the fam than most players on account of these injuries, however. I guess Jennifer and the kids appreciate the injuries in this way. Doug Free’s wife Dorothy Free participated in a charity fashion show in June, and she looked stylish. For fun, the Frees enjoy attending races at dirt tracks. Doug is a big fan of four-wheelers. Because Doug comes from Arkansas, the couple visit there frequently and enjoy the outdoors. Dorothy spends her time in North Dallas at a hospital because she is a certified Nurse Anesthetist. She graduated in 2014 and comes from Illinois originally. Since she is a Texas transplant, she visits family and friends in Illinois on occasion.

For fun, Doug Free’s wife goes to the gym and works out. She also enjoys skiing and travels with Doug to mountainous regions along the Rockies to hit the slopes. She goes four-wheeling with Doug sometimes when he goes, and the couple knows other couples that enjoy the activity. In January of 2015, she traveled with four of her frends to Las Vegas to chill out and take in some entertainment. This followed her graduation from Nursing school in late 2014. Her family and friends attended the graduation ceremony, and she donned her cap and gown.

Along with the destruction of natural habitats via four-wheelers, Dorothy also takes part in the killing of animals with guns. Doug Free’s wife showed off a dead buck she shot in November of 2014. Earth is the dominion of the humans! In March of 2014, Doug and Dorothy took a helicopter ride in a remote region of what appeared to be Arizona but may have been West Texas. They married in February of 2014 and honeymooned shortly afterwards. I know Dorothy has lived in Dallas since at least 2012, and she and Doug used to live in Fort Worth. Eventually, they will become parents. She talked about Doug as a “daddy in the making” at one point. They own two cats who occasionally get into scraps with each other.

Anthony Brown’s girlfriend Treyvia needed to travel to the airport during the NFL Draft, and he drove her there to take his mind off the picks. It sounds like a good strategy to not go crazy waiting for the pick to come. He said in an ESPN article he felt a strong premonition the Cowboys would pick him. In August, Treyvia gave birth to their child, Anthony Brown Jr. He’s a cute kid. I like this couple a lot. Anthony calls Treyvia the love of his life and the mother of his child. A short while before the birth at the baby shower, he said he couldn’t wait until the little man arrived.

Treyvia always looks good in photos. She’s pretty darn hot, I must admit. Brown calls her “Chipmunk.” When I first saw her, I didn’t think she looked like a chipmunk, but now that I know that’s her nickname, I guess maybe she does? They call their child “Chubbs,” probably because he’s got chubby cheeks. It seems like they love the fit in Dallas. Brown’s mother is actually a life-long Cowboys fan, and consequently so is he. In October, Anthony Brown’s girlfriend Treyvia celebrated her birthday with him at a steakhouse. She even had a bit or two of dessert. She probably did not finish the whole dessert though. I got that impression from the photo, but it’s just a guess.

The one thing I can tell you about Treyvia is she is Italian and Ecuadorian. That’s a pretty sweet mix. I bet you she speaks Italian too. Hotness! She locked up her social media so nobody creepy like me can peep her photos (smart move). She posed in front of a couple exotic cars, including a Ferrari, for her profile picture. I actually don’t know if the couple is married. They might possibly be engaged because she included an emoji of a ring in her description.

Alfred Morris’ wife Lindsey Morris did not break his heart. Apparently this was a big problem for the nice guy. In an interview for the Washington Post, he talked about his past girlfriends who cheated on him and dumped him on Valentine’s Day. Well, Mr. Morris found a nice young lady to settle down with because they already have a child. Lindsey celebrated Alfred’s 28th birthday with him in December. She bought him big balloons that spelled out “28.”

The couple married in June of 2014. Alfred Morris’ wife Lindsey Morris formerly went by Lindsey Rice. They apparently didn’t date for too long before the marriage. I know that since Alfred posted a picture of his last ex-girlfriend in June of 2012. So I guess they met, dated for a year or two, and tied the knot. The baby followed soon after, and he is their son. Another noteworthy item about this couple is their car. Alfred kept his 1991 Mazda 626, which is named Bentley. He even posts pictures of the car on social media and says, “If you don’t take care of your baby someone else will.” It’s pretty unusual to see a millionaire roll in an early 90’s Mazda, but it sets him apart.

Lindsey and Alfred are very religious. Alfred Morris’ wife frequently posts quotes from the bible because she follows it zealously. They chose a religious name, Josiah, for their child. Lindsey prides herself on being a bargain shopper. I think Alfred seems to echo that sentiment with his car. Lindsey says that motherhood taught her a lot about love and more than any other relationship has. When isn’t busy with the kid, she is posting religious posts on her social media and attributing everything to her Christian God. In March, 2016, the family did not have a place to call home. I expect that changed now that Alfred signed on to Dallas.

Tyrone Crawford’s wife Kelsey Crawford is a real estate agent in Dallas. That’s a pretty sweet gig even though home prices are low compared to where I live. Real estate seems hot in Dallas because people want to move there. Kelsey graduated from Louisiana State University in 2013. She joined Delta Sigma Pi in January 2011 to hang out with likeminded girls and gain a support system. She worked as a receptionist and a nanny before the real estate gig. Occasionally she will go to horse races with Tyrone in Dallas when she isn’t on the clock selling apartments.

Kelsey is also travels to all of Tyrone’s games when it’s possible for her to do so. Tyrone Crawford’s wife is extremely loyal, and she posts about him on social media all the time. They also own two dogs named Neeka and Ace. Neeka appears to be a Bullmastiff and Ace is a miniature Pinscher. She lives with the dogs and Tyrone in Frisco, Texas. It’s a city of over 100,000 north of Plano and Dallas. She commented that she wants to renovate her whole house every time she walks through Home Goods. That tells me they live a fairly cookie-cutter lifestyle in some large cookie-cutter house.

Both Kelsey and Tyrone did some community outreach work on Thanksgiving. Tyrone Crawford’s wife participated in a Salvation Army event to help people in need. For Halloween, she dressed as a cheerleader while he dressed as the Joker. I’ve noticed the Joker is a very popular costume for NFL players. I think they were drawn to Heath Ledger’s portrayal. In May, the Crawfords attended a wedding in Florida for a friend (probably another NFL player). I must say- Kelsey cleans up very well in a dress and hairdo. She looked fantastic for the couple picture for the wedding.

Jaylon Smith’s girlfriend Nevada Jones is a basketball player for Indiana University Kokomo. Is there a difference between Indiana University and Indiana University Kokomo? Glad you asked! I honestly can’t say for sure. Since it technically classifies itself as within the IU school system, I guess not. However, I think it’s easier to gain admission. Regardless, she Nevada shows up on IUK’s Women’s Basketball roster from 2015. Initially, she signed up to play for the school in May of 2014. This means she didn’t graduate yet. We can still officially call her a college student in 2017.

As a matter of fact, Jaylon Smith’s girlfriend attended a high school where a total of twelve seniors from the graduating class went on to play college sports. If that number seems high to you, it is! The local news even ran a feature about it. I’m sure it’s nothing new to some schools. However, most public schools don’t churn out athletes like that. I don’t think Nevada lasted long on the team, but I could be wrong. I’m curious why she doesn’t show up on any rosters after 2015. It leads me to believe she only played one season. She does keep a social media account but it’s private.

The only other detail Jaylon Smith’s girlfriend reveals about herself is God is within her and she will not fail. That’s her tagline on social media. Jaylon, on the other hand, reveals a few more details. For example, in Mr. Smith posed with the lovely young lady at a pool hall in May of 2017. He grabbed her rear end in the photo. Commenters certainly didn’t fail to miss that fun detail. The couple come from the same hometown. They attended colleges about a hundred miles away. They attended different high schools, but I’m confident they knew each other in high school. Trust me, there’s no coincidences when it comes to couples who come from the same hometown.

Darren McFadden’s wife Tita McFadden traveled to the Dominican Republic with him in February of 2017. The last time we checked about this couple, we mentioned the painting Darren commissioned to celebrate their anniversary. Darren has four kids. Tita gave birth to two of them. She gave birth to one more since the Wikipedia entry from 2011 regarding his personal life. In June, Darren and Tita enjoyed some shark-diving with all the kids. The family owns several Pitbull dogs. Recently, one of the dogs named Remy gave birth to eight puppies. Darren routinely shares pictures of all them. They appeared in several pictures on social media in the summer. He also sold at least one of the puppies to a tattoo artist on September 19.

Notably, Sportsday mentioned Darren’s rough childhood. He is the tenth child of twelve. According to him, his mother used grocery money to buy crack. She also bought crack from one of Darren’s oldest brothers. The brother spent time in prison for dealing drugs. Darren also said football was his escape route from the rough life. That is all obviously over now. Darren McFadden’s wife receives birthday and anniversary tributes every year. In June of 2015, for example, he called her his “smoochy poo” and shared a picture of them at a seafood restaurant. They enjoyed a large platter that included lobster tail.

On July 3, Darren shared a tweet about a shooting. According to him, he received a call from his nephew that a man started shooting in a club. The man also shot his nephew. Darren said some other relatives got shot. Darren himself went down to the club to offer help. He asked people to respect the privacy of his family and their medical status. Luckily, Darren McFadden’s wife was not involved in the shooting, and neither was Darren.

The family often eat fresh rabbit. Darren shares pictures of hunts he goes on with his father. He also says his father expertly prepares the rabbit. Does Darren McFadden’s wife enjoy it? Since he also fishes, there are options for her. In May, Remy the Pitbull grabbed a catfish with just her jaws and nothing else. Pitbulls are not the only animal in the house, however. The family also owns a Savannah cat. Darren shared a video of the cat in April of 2016. These cats are large hybrids between Servals and normal cats. Darren also said the Savannah is hostile towards Remy and showed a video in 2014 of her attacking him.

Terry Glenn’s girlfriend sat in the car with Terry when they crashed on November 20. Unfortunately, Terry passed away. Verina sustained injuries but will survive. Originally, Verina comes from Brooklyn, New York. She now resides in Dallas. Glenn asked her to be his wife recently. Now, as a result of the tragedy, that will not happen. In the Boston Herald, his former coach, Bill Bellichick, said he was a good person with good intentions and a good heart. Verina is the mother of his youngest child, Greyson. In addition, Terry was the father of five other children from other relationships.

In May of 2017, Glenn wrote a heartfelt note on social media to his mother, who passed away thirty years ago. The letter also included touching personal notes about his family’s relationship to him. He said his family gave up on him after his mother and grandmother passed away. An NBC Dallas news post from just after his death talked about how he seemed to find happiness after his NFL career ended. Of course, this includes Terry Glenn’s girlfriend and their engagement. In the post, the writer praised Glenn’s good nature and ability to relate to the media which he also distrusted. The article also shared a video from former teammate Troy Brown in which Brown remembered his friend. Brown said he’d been through a lot in his life and carried a lot of pain.

The details of the extent of injuries Terry Glenn’s girlfriend sustained are not immediately clear. The Irving Police Department said the cause of the crash is not yet clear. She currently works at a pharmaceuticals company as a sales representative. Before she worked for the pharmaceutical company, she worked with another medical company. Verina’s mother also passed away in 2016. Verina included a picture of a pack of cigarettes in her social media profile because of it. Her sister originally posted the tribute. Both sisters talked about how much they missed their mother. In this respect, Terry and Verina shared a bond about their departed mothers.

The Sun reported about the engagement with Terry Glenn’s girlfriend. They shared a video of Terry and Verina on their site. Before he proposed, he said he never thought he would marry again. Then, he immediately turned to Verina. He dropped to a knee and asked her in front of a crowd. Terry held a microphone throughout the proposal. Verina looked elated. He put the ring on her finger and she cried. Our heart goes out to Verina and their families.

Dak Prescott’s girlfriend Yasmine Lee first turned up on Terez Owens on October 9. After that, they posted another story which The Sun then picked up. It goes like this: Dak promised not to make love with Yasmine until the Cowboys are out of the playoffs. I both like and dislike this. First, it gives Mr. Prescott some time to get to know Yasmine as a person. However, he claims it’s like a good luck charm. This is ludicrous since there’s not a lot of luck running through the Cowboys organization right now. Anyway, at least Dak will learn more than us about Yasmine.

We can tell you that this seems like a great step up for Dak. His last relationship with Dallas Nicole Parks turned out to be a huge embarrassment. The Cowboys asked him to tell her to stop blabbing about him and the team. That’s never a good sign. So let’s talk about Dak Prescott’s girlfriend Yasmine. Basically, she’s a super hot Instagram model. She gave a few hints that she is involved with Dak so far. Meanwhile, Dak didn’t yet make the relationship official on social media. Yasmine posted a photo of her very close to the action on the gridiron. She wore a Prescott jersey. Then she said there is only one player she watches.

Dak Prescott’s girlfriend graduated from Arizona State University and currently resides in Dallas. However, I should mention that she travels fairly extensively. She posted pictures of Coachella, Honolulu, and Baja Mexico. It’s surprising how little you need to share personally in order to retain 60,000 plus followers on social media. Right now, Yasmine boasts that many and really only puts up pictures of herself in bikinis. But, oh, what pictures! To the best of my knowledge, Yasmine comes from Tempe, Arizona. She visits friends and family there.

But, it’s worth noting no criminal charges were filed.  On August 14, both The Daily Mail and The Dallas Star Telegram posted details behind the suspension.  According to those reports, Elliott claimed Thompson threatened to ruin his career.  On September 1, 2017 TMZ released a post that explained the NFL investigation that surrounded the alleged abuse. In that post, Elliot said they were never in a relationship. He also added that she was never his girlfriend. However according to the investigation Elliott told Thompson that he wanted to marry her and that he loved her. Which account is true? Is neither wholly accurate? At this point, can we ever know?

On September 1, SportsDay also reported that the NFLPA filed a suit against the NFL.  The league arbitrator Harold Henderson was also named. The lawsuit is viewable online and also contains the original investigation conducted by the NFL. What does Ezekiel Elliott’s girlfriend think of all this?  SB Nation posted a timeline of all the pertinent incidents in the domestic violence case. According to that timeline, there were several instances of violence, but the descriptions apparently appeared confusing because Thompson gave several variations of them.

Ezekiel Elliot’s girlfriend Tiffany Thompson

Another day, another NFL blemish. This time, Ezekiel Thompson’s ex-girlfriend is claiming he beat her up a bunch of times. Tiffany Thompson has put pictures of the bruises on Twitter to back up the claim. As we’ve seen before, the NFL seems to see a new domestic violence incident every few weeks. In this iteration, Tiffany called the police in Columbus, Ohio after a spat with Elliott.

There was no arrest, but Ezekiel Elliott’s ex-girlfriend Tiffany went straight to social media to write a lengthy post about how women in abusive relationships need to get out. Tiffany said:

“This has been happening to me for months and it finally got out of control to where I was picked up and thrown across the room by my arms. Thrown into walls. Being choked to where I had to gasp for breath.”

She then calls on women in these kinds of relationships to step away from their abusers.

Tiffany has since deleted the posts with the pictures of her bruises. She has also turned her social media private. Thinking out  loud, it’s entirely possible that Thompson and Elliot may settle financially quickly. As we’ve seen before, settlements have previously bought settle quickly to ensure things stay quiet in the future. We’re not going to speculate on the future of this matter, but I’ll be curious to see if Elliott addresses it publicly. I’m fairly certain that would only happen if the Dallas Cowboys started to make a huff about it. That’s just how these things go.

Way back in 2015, there was a bit of very hasty reporting by that Ezekiel Elliott’s wife is Leeanne Hurster.  Even then it was clear that at best she was Ezekiel Elliot’s girlfriend, but even that looked like a stretch.  Let’s pretend to take Ezekiel at his word for now. If this young 19 year-old did in fact marry Mr. Elliott at some point in 2014, there is no trace of the marriage online, and in this day and age that is very rare– particularly with a fairly high-profile college athlete.

The real issue arises from one innocuous Instagram photo Ezekiel threw up, captioning “Happy Birthday to my BFF/Wife @lkhurster Hope it’s a great one. Love you and miss you. See you soon love.” Now, most sports fans would assume this macho looking fellow is simply expressing his devotion to his wife, but I have a sneaky suspicion that they are in fact just dating, and that his calling her a “wife” and “best friend forever” is merely a term of endearment, not literal here folks. You see women use these terms all the time between one another and it’s just a way to express a deep bond and friendship.

The two of them went to high school together at John Burroughs High School in St. Louis. They’ve also been to a formal occasion (presumably a dance or prom), as they’ve been photographed in a dress and tuxedo. The tuition for John Burroughs High School (a private school) in 2013 was a little over $23,000. That’s some pretty serious high school cash. It turned out to be a nice investment, I suppose.

DeMarcus Lawrence’s girlfriend Veronica Ramirez is all smiles in her photographs, and I suspect it’s because her life is pretty cool. Being the partner to a professional football player is swell.  But you’ve also got to pull fulfillment from one’s own life in order to feel worth something.  And Veronica definitely does that– she mans the helm of a guided-missile cruiser!

Yes, that is a totally badass job. She drives the USS Antietam. This thing is loaded up with missiles of all kinds. Have you ever heard of a cornucopia? It’s like a big horn-shaped basket overflowing with fruit and produce. Well, DeMarcus Lawrence’s girlfriend Veronica Ramirez drives a cornucopia of missiles. There’s 122 missiles loaded on her ride. The batch of missiles her ship carries has got about ten different kinds, not to mention two Bushmaster chain-fed autocannons, two Mark 45 artillery mounted cannons, four M2 Browning machine guns, a radar-guided gatling gun, and two freaking SH-60 attack helicopters! Sorry, but that’s really cool.

“What do you do?”

“Oh I’m an internet model who takes selfies of myself and tweets about my abs. What about you?”

“Oh, I pilot a missile cruiser in the Asian Pacific.”

That’s self-worth, my friends. Veronica doesn’t need anybody telling her how awesome she is because she already knows. Whether she gets hundreds of people commenting on her photos that she’s “so gorge” or none, it doesn’t matter because she’s rolling with missiles and attack helicopters. I wonder if it’s weird to be on a naval vessel and have one of your officers dating a football player? I guess it’s not weird per se, but you don’t normally think of navy officers in that way, do you? DeMarcus has said time and time again that he’s glad to be a Cowboy, and after seeing the interesting mix of people associated with the team (players, wives, and girlfriends) I see what he means.

Jason Witten’s wife Michelle Witten doesn’t have the usual WAG occupation (and we use that word loosely). Michelle Witten is an Emergency Room nurse at Dallas area Parkland Memorial Hospital. Think about that for a minute. Many athlete wives and girlfriends don’t even have jobs at all.  But, Jason Witten’s wife not only has a job, but one of the harder jobs one could have.

That ain’t the end of it, either

Parkland Memorial hospital delivers more babies under one roof than any other hospital.  And that’s in the ENTIRE country. But, in addition to that, they also treat prisoners from the Dallas County Jail.  So yeah.  Not only is she an ER nurse which is a credit unto itself.  But, she’s also doing it as an insanely busy location.

Charity, too?

Jason Witten’s wife Michelle is also heavily involved in Jason’s charitable endeavors, most notably for the SCORE foundation, which is funded by the Witten’s. The SCORE Foundation helps fight domestic violence, while also recently launching an initiative to promoting education in the Witten’s current state of Texas and home state of Tennessee.

Jason and wife Michelle were childhood sweethearts – seriously there are a ton of photos of the two of them attending proms and the like. Both then attended the University of Tennessee and the rest is history. The couple resides in Southlanke, TX. Together they have four children: sons CJ and Cooper, daughters Landry and Hadley. Hadley is the most recent addition to the family, born on November 21st, 2014.

Jason attributes his parenting values to what he experienced as a child. Growing up, his father was an illustration more of what not to do. Jason’s mother was eventually able to get out of the bad situation and move in with her parents. Jason’s grandfather was a much better role model to him – something Jason will never forget.

Like my grandfather did before me, I want to foster an environment that is encouraging and safe for my family. I want my kids to know that, sure, not everything is going to be easy, and you don’t get everything you want, but you should always continue to chase your dreams, and do so in a way that builds character.

Good to see Jason back on the gridiron.  Easy family to root for.

Mike McCarthy’s wife Jessica Kress legally entered the picture by marrying then Packers head coach on March 15, 2008 in Maricopa County, Arizona.  The wedding, which was the second for both Mike and Jessica, was attended by only immediate family in an intimate, private ceremony. An article from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel explains the decision:

It was their unconditional request to have a private ceremony. Jessica is the kind of person who wants to be able to run to the grocery store in sweats and a ponytail and not have to put on a public face all the time. Mike also wanted the ceremony to be just about them. So they picked a beautiful resort (one where NBA player Steve Nash had married), chose simple attire (her dress was from J. Crew) and tied the knot.

Mike McCarthy’s wife has given birth to two of Mike’s five children, daughters Gabrielle and Isabella.  Of Mike’s five total children, three are biologically Mike’s with the remaining two Jessica’s from her first marriage.  Mike’s eldest daughter was from his first marriage as well, and is now in her 20s.

Gabriella Kathleen McCarthy was born October 22, 2008. Hmm…. March to October is only 7 months….. A small, private ceremony 7 months before the birth of their daughter? Hmm….  are we onto the genesis of how Jessica Kress became Mike McCarthy’s wife?

While we’re being catty and digging deep, let’s go back to Jessica Kress’ first marriage.   Turns out her first marriage happens to have been to William Kress of Green Bay, who happens to sit on the Green Bay Packers board of directors. Interesting, and I’m sure absolutely, certainly never uncomfortable for the coach.  While I doubt it played into the decision to fire him a few years back, you gotta imagine William Kress wasn’t exactly morose to see this couple head out of town.  Looks like they’ll be setting down roots in Dallas, so there will be plenty of distance to make the heart grow fonder!

Troy Aikman’s wife Capa Mooty entered the picture long after Troy Aikman’s ex-wife left the picture.

So, then let’s talk about Capa Mooty first!

Well, first things first, Capa isn’t really her name.  No, folks, Troy Aikman’s wife’s real name is Catherine Moody.  Troy and Capa met in 2016, before marrying in 2017.  Troy and Capa got engaged at Lake Como in June, and married just three months later.  Hey, when you’re in your 50’s, there’s no reason to wait around and date for years on end.

Both Troy and Capa each bring a pair of kids into the marriage.  Troy has two daughters with his first wife Rhomda Worthey.  More on her in a moment.   Capa has two sons from a previous marriage.  This modern day Brady Bunch is lovingly referred to as #teamsix by Troy across social media.  The kids are all close in age, and attend the same private high school in Dallas.  It’s not entirely clear how these two met.  But you can connect some dots when you consider that the boys’ grandmother is Jerry Jones’ sister.

Troy is not afraid to pronounce his happiness and love on the ‘gram. He celebrates most monumental occasions with Capa online.

Troy and Rhonda Aikman began dating in 1998 (more on that in a minute), and were married on April 8, 2000. Rhonda has a daughter from a previous relationship, and together Troy and Rhonda have two more daughters, born in 2001 and 2002. The couple announced their separation on January 24, 2011.

Rhonda Aikman was working as a publicist for the Cowboys when they met in 98. Apparently, she was dating someone else. We’ll let Bart Hubbuch of the NY Post continue the story from there in a series of three tweets:

“Little story: I covered the #Cowboys in ’98 when a certain QB’s soon-to-be-ex-wife was a team PR secretary engaged to a team accountant …”

” … certain QB lured team PR secretary away, she gave ring back to team accountant, who then challenged QB to a fight in the parking lot …”

“… high-ranking team official heard of planned fisticuffs and team accountant was fired. Secretary soon “retired” with a huge new ring …”

When later asked about the validity of this story, Hubbuch responded:

“Every word of it true. Saw some of it with my own eyes. The accountant literally wanted to kill the QB in question.”

Greg Zuerlein’s wife Megan Zuerlein is the mother of their three young children. They are two girls and a boy. “Greg The Leg” lives in California with his family and a white Labrador named Charlie. Their baby boy is too young to walk, but their two daughters often watch their father practice kicking in his netted workout facility at their home. According to The Los Angeles Times, Greg made 21 consecutive field-goal attempts while he attended Missouri Western. That number also included nine from beyond 50 yards. So the transition into the NFL for such a kicker is no big stretch.

Besides being a kicker WAG….

Greg Zuerlein’s wife is a registered nurse. In fact, she often nurses the household like an infirmary. Two days before Christmas in 2015, she shared a photo of the large amount of medications and health products she bought at the pharmacy. A day before that, she proclaimed they ran their own infirmary at their home since everyone including Greg got sick. Megan also shows interest in the medical field on her social media page. For example, on May 24 of 2015, she shared that she watched a face transplant. She then said the operation was truly amazing and that she loved being a nurse.

On June 14, 2015, Greg Zuerlein’s wife gave birth to their daughter Morgan. Morgan’s arrival was the second of their marriage, and it was a little over two years since Greg’s first game in the NFL. According to the Lincoln Journal Star, Greg didn’t know if he would be drafted into the NFL. By his own account, he said he thought there was a chance based on what a few coaches told him. The Rams coaches John Fassel and Jeff Fisher both told him they felt interested. Coaches took notice of Zuerlein’s ability since high school. He quit football as a freshman because he didn’t enjoy being a receiver. Then, while he played soccer, the football coaches approached him and offered him a spot as a kicker.

The Charitable Type of Family

Megan also occasionally mentions causes and charities she supports such as the Kick Cancer event she attended in November of 2014. Additionally, Greg Zuerlein’s wife never forgets to wish him a happy birthday on social media every year. Every December 27, she posts a nice tribute with a picture of him in uniform and wishes him a good one. Of course, Megan loves to post updates on social media about the team and about her husband’s personal accomplishments as well.
